Fruit Mince Pies

For this festive favourite, we make a rye short crust pastry and fill it with fruits which have been soaked in brandy for 12 months, mixed with cooked Granny Smith apples in butter, brown sugar and Lebanese baharat seven spices. A dusting of icing sugar completes them.
